Ranveer Singh to Collaborate with Filmmaker Prasanth Varma for Upcoming Project
MyAxom Reviews has learned that amidst speculations about Ranveer Singh taking on the role of superhero Shaktimaan and the excitement surrounding his numerous upcoming ventures, a new report has surfaced regarding a potential collaboration between the actor and HanuMan filmmaker Prasanth Varma. Varma recently gained significant acclaim with his superhero Pan Indian mythological fantasy film, which received love from audiences nationwide. Following the success of his latest project, Jai Hanuman, Varma is reportedly in talks with Ranveer Singh for a future film project.
Sources close to the development have revealed that while discussions are ongoing between Varma and Singh, no official confirmation has been provided regarding whether the actor has been approached for Jai Hanuman or any other upcoming project by Varma. According to a source quoted in Hindustan Times, “Yes, it’s true that Prasanth approached Ranveer for a film within his cinematic universe. This project is expected to be Varma’s immediate next venture following HanuMan. Ranveer has shown interest, and although it’s almost confirmed, finalization is pending. An official announcement will be made once details are ironed out, with Mythri Movie Makers backing the project.”
The announcement of Jai Hanuman was made earlier this year during the Ram Mandir ceremony in Ayodhya, following the success of HanuMan. Speculations also suggest that KGF star Yash is being considered for a role in the film. However, no official confirmation has been provided regarding Yash’s involvement. Additionally, Varma has reassured fans of HanuMan that a sequel to the adventure-fantasy drama is in the works, with Teja Sajja set to star in the second installment.
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release of Singham Again, where he will make a special appearance reprising his role as Simmba alongside his wife Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Kapoor. Apart from this, Singh is also expected to commence work on the highly-anticipated Don 3, co-starring Kiara Advani.
In related news, Ranveer Singh recently expressed his excitement as The Academy shared a clip of “Deewani Mastani” from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani on its Instagram handle, calling it “mesmeric.”
