Popular South Indian actress Nayanthara in talks to join Yash starrer Toxic
It has been reported that Nayanthara, a well-known South Indian actress, is currently in discussions to become a part of the highly anticipated movie “Toxic,” which stars Yash and is directed by Geethu Mohandas. According to sources close to the production, both director Geethu Mohandas and actor Yash have been engaging with Nayanthara regarding the role of Yash’s sister in the movie. These discussions are reportedly progressing positively.
“Nayanthara has expressed her interest in being a part of ‘Toxic,’ and the details are currently being worked out,” revealed a source. “The character is well-defined as a strong sister, which aligns perfectly with Nayanthara’s image of a powerful woman. She is impressed by Geethu Mohandas’ portrayal of such a strong female character and is resonating well with her vision.”
Geethu Mohandas and Yash are both keen on having Nayanthara join the cast. “Negotiations are ongoing, and the team is collaboratively working to finalize the arrangements,” the source added. “If everything goes smoothly, Nayanthara will officially come on board within a fortnight.” However, no official statement has been released by the makers yet.
Interestingly, it was previously reported by MyAxom Reviews that Kareena Kapoor Khan was also roped in for a role in the Yash starrer. “The storyline revolves around a brother-sister relationship, with Yash and Kareena playing inseparable siblings. The director was keen on having Kareena on board since the project’s inception, and negotiations were underway,” a source shared.
Yash to receive 50-50 partnership as a producer in his films
Additionally, reports have surfaced that Yash will be receiving a 50-50 partnership as a producer in his upcoming films “Toxic” and “Ramayana.” This marks a significant development in Yash’s career as he takes on a more active role behind the scenes.
