Ajay Devgn Wraps Up Shooting for ‘Raid 2’ Ahead of Schedule
Ajay Devgn’s stellar year continues as he completes filming for his highly anticipated movie, ‘Raid 2’, earlier than expected. MyAxom Reviews has exclusively learned that the shooting of ‘Raid 2’ will conclude by the end of April, a week ahead of the planned schedule.
The source revealed, “The makers of Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’ will finish filming by the end of April. The film is currently in its final shooting phase in Lucknow, with a two-day shoot in Delhi to wrap up the production.” It’s worth noting that ‘Raid 2’ commenced filming on January 6, 2024, and everything has been executed according to plan, resulting in a swift completion in less than four months.
‘Raid 2’ serves as the sequel to the successful 2018 film ‘Raid’, where Ajay Devgn portrayed the role of the honest IRS Officer Amay Patnaik in a battle against corruption. In this installment, Ajay reprises his role as Amay Patnaik embarking on a mission to tackle a new adversary. The cast includes Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in pivotal roles, alongside Rajat Kapoor. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, ‘Raid 2’ is set to hit cinemas on November 15 this year.
Before the release of ‘Raid 2’, fans can expect to see Ajay Devgn in two more films. Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’, featuring actress Tabu, is slated for a June or July release. Additionally, ‘Singham Again’ is rumored to premiere during Diwali festivities.
