Meri Pyaari Bindu

This is a story of a young successful writer, Abhimanya Roy (played by Ayushmann Khurrana). Abhimanya is upset with the responses to his writing and is wanting more acclaim and accolades to his name. He decides to go back to where he grew up in Kolkata. His desire is to pen writings that have more substance to them than his current pieces. So, he imagines and writes a traditional story about love and life.

In the process of writing, he becomes stuck all because he is thinking about his past one true love, Bindu. But, he doesn’t know where she is or how to find her.

When he goes back home he comes across a mix tape of they made for each other. He flashes back in time to their relationship and their favorite songs. How they worked together to find all the songs that expressed their relationship journey.

So, with Bindu in mind, he writes this story of love. With each chapter in the book, another chapter of their love story is unfurled. He tries to capture all of who she is in the book. But, how can you tell the story of their love after all this time? How can the book hold of her wild-spirited and joyful nature?

Bindu is played by the beautiful Parineeti Chopra.
