Jaya Bachchan to Star in Vikas Bahl’s Comedy “Darwaza”
Renowned actress Jaya Bachchan is gearing up to grace the silver screen once again. Following her role in Karan Johar’s “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani,” where she portrayed a negative character for the first time, she will now be joined by Siddhant Chaturvedi and Wamiqa Gabbi in supporting roles.

Set to mark another milestone in her illustrious career, Jaya Bachchan is set to make her debut in Vikas Bahl’s “Darwaza.” This upcoming film, commencing filming by the end of the month, boasts an impressive ensemble cast.
“Jaya Bachchan takes the lead in ‘Darwaza.’ It’s a quirky comedy centered around her character, with other intriguing characters in the mix. However, she spearheads the storyline,” revealed a source closely associated with the project.
Initially apprehensive about her ability to deliver comedy on screen, Jaya’s doubts were dispelled by the confident director. Notably, Vikas has recently directed Amitabh Bachchan in two acclaimed films, “Goodbye” and “Ganpath.”
